  • BB/C: A high-quality face veneer with a utility veneer on the reverse side. Best for structural applications where appearance isn’t a priority.
  • CP/CP: Utility-grade veneers on both sides, ideal for hidden applications where only acoustic insulation matters.
  • CP/C & C/C: Lower-grade veneers on both sides, perfect for cost-effective applications requiring primarily acoustic insulation, without concern for surface appearance.

Material Composition:

Our Soundproof, Vibration Absorbing Plywood is made from:

  • Birch Veneer: Known for its strength and stability, birch provides the structural foundation for the plywood.
  • Cork and Rubber: These materials are integrated to enhance the plywood’s ability to absorb sound and reduce vibrations. Cork is particularly effective at absorbing airborne sounds, while rubber enhances the reduction of vibrations transmitted through the material.

Adhesive:

We use phenolic-formaldehyde adhesive for bonding the plywood layers. This adhesive is known for its:

  • Strong Bonding Properties: Ensures long-lasting structural integrity.
  • Moisture Resistance: Helps prevent warping or damage under varying environmental conditions.

Formaldehyde Emissions and Moisture Content:

  • Low Formaldehyde Emissions: Our plywood complies with strict environmental standards, emitting only 0.1–0.3 mg/m² h, well below the allowable limit of 3.5 mg/m² h.
  • Moisture Content: The plywood maintains a moisture content of 5–10%, ensuring stability and preventing deformation in different environmental conditions.

Packaging Weight:

The weight of each plywood sheet varies based on its thickness and size, ranging from 400 to 950 kg per package. This range allows for easy handling and transport, depending on your project’s scale and logistical requirements.

Noise and Vibration Protection:

  • Rubber-based Plywood: Provides noise reduction of ≥35 dB, along with vibration insulation, making it highly effective for both soundproofing and reducing vibrations in noise-sensitive environments.
  • Cork-based Plywood: Provides noise insulation of ≥32 dB, offering excellent sound absorption while minimizing vibration transmission.

Grades of plywood

Photos show the approximate appearance of the plywood. Plywood sheets may differ from the pictures in terms of acceptable defects. Each grade has its own acceptable defects, check with your manager for details.

Class B

Grade B/B, B/BB plywood is used for furniture and interior and exterior decoration. If sheet appearance and maximum strength are crucial for your purposes, it is best to choose B grade, which also has the strictest technical control when it comes to production. Only minor defects are allowed.

Class BB

Class BB/BB, BB/CP is mainly used as a base for floors or as various furniture components, as well as a base for laminated plywood.

CP class

CP grade is ideal for projects where appearance is not paramount or those that are invisible. It is used for packaging materials or flooring underlay. The incidence of noticeable defects is higher compared to better grades.

Class C

Class C is reserved for products whose appearance is of no importance. There may be a few visually noticeable flaws. Nevertheless, we guarantee that the veneers are properly glued together. It is suitable for use as packaging because despite the low grade, the plywood is still waterproof and durable.

Plywood can be used in many areas:
Furniture

Furniture manufacturing - decorative elements of furniture can be made from plywood, as can walls and other parts of the structure. Film-coated F/F and F/W plywood are often used for these purposes.

Formwork

Plywood is a convenient option for making formwork for pouring concrete. Namely F/F plywood.

Finishing

Plywood can be used to make interior and exterior decorative elements or used to cover walls and roofs. MR (interior) plywood is great for cladding interior walls, while WBP (exterior) plywood is an ideal exterior cladding. Thanks to the phenol-formaldehyde adhesive used in its composition, this type of plywood has increased water resistance.

Transport

Sheathing of railroad cars, floors of truck trailers. F/W plywood with a special anti-slip coating is ideal for such purposes.

Packaging

Plywood is one of the components used to make wooden pallets and industrial packaging.

Parquet

When laying wood floors, plywood (usually WBP plywood due to its increased moisture resistance) can be used as a substrate.

Exercise equipment and toys

Plywood can often be found on sports fields, for example, jump boxes are usually made of it. Many wooden toys are also made of plywood.

Laser cutting

When it comes to manufacturing complex parts, plywood is often used for laser cutting. This requires special plywood with additional quality control.
